What are the benefits of working with Alterman College Essay Consultants?
We have decades of professional writing and editing experience. As parents, we know this is an exciting but stressful time. With that in mind, we strive to make the essay-writing experience as painless as possible for students and parents alike.

Regardless of what field students hope to enter, communication skills are crucial. Looking beyond the personal statement and supplemental essays, we strive to impart writing and editing techniques that make students stronger communicators.

Will I work with Liz or Rich?
It’s your choice! While we often consult with each other, we recognize that some students may align more with Liz and others with Rich. If you’d prefer an arrangement like working with Rich on brainstorming and Liz on essay writing, that’s perfectly fine. We are flexible and will review your preferences during our initial consultation.

Absolutely not! We work with students from a variety of academic backgrounds on a first-come, first-served basis.

What are your rates?
We charge $150 per one-hour session. A package of four one-hour sessions is available for $500.
